Thanks for sharing that Buc 👍

What happened at Middlesborough?

Anti Scottish stuff I also missed the ladies mate I do like bigger sized woman they have better character and more fun time with . ;D
Fk off home and the likes . There was another Scottish lad I think he stayed on not sure if he made the grade or not
It is not nice getting told to fk off home is it?
As it is not nice getting told to fk off to England by your fellow countrymen and women.

I'm sorry Mo but I think you make things up about the YES movement to discredit us because you hate us so much.
I've never seen it with the marches I do .we also have an English for YES and they are very much welcome.
I've been a member of the SNP for decades now I've never seen it there either .
We even have English SNP cooncilors and many members from over the border .
But there's no doot we have a small minority of name on social media who do get discredited and rightly so .

Same as the yoons they have their share too .
I've seen it because I realize that in all walks of life we have idiots it's the same everywhere..

Don't just pick on one group I'm very much anti racist I hate that with a passion .
As are huge numbers of the YES movement.
You wouldn't see it though.
Ffs again you are so naive. I have been told to **** off to England on this very board. And I have lost count of the times I have read **** off to England written by seps.
The yes movement is full of anti English people, fact.

Id be surprised if you had an English accent as you told us you moved up here as a young kid !

My wife's English she got a bit of that in 1st year at school and didn't get bothered after that .
We at the SNP have English members who go to the Aberdeen Donside meetings .
They have a big say within the movement.
Where have I said that I have an English accent ?

Life .

Born in Northfield 1958 to my father who was a docker and my mother was a milk woman .

It wasn't easy for a lot of people back in the 50s and 60s .

My mum had 5 kids but I think as she was only young back then she couldn't cope and became an alcoholic.

As a we kid I seen her saw her sleeping drunk and she chocked in her sleep I didn't know what to do took me a long time to come to terms with that .
To the point of blaming myself . The church helped me a lot Father Stone was immense.

Cooncil hooses back then had no double glazing and no central heating all we had was a coal fire frosted up windows in the harsh winters we once had oh boy it was freezing.
Going to football on a Saturday was everything where you could go and let off steam (poor ref eh) . King Joey was the man  ;D

I was wanted to sign for Middlesbrough where I went down to ply my trade but after 2 weeks I wanted back home .
One of the staff came to Aberdeen to try and talk me to going back down but I didn't want to my dad wasn't happy ruining a big chance .

Never played in goal again until years later .

Not long after Ted Brown was looking to employ an apprentice Plumber heating engineer a lad I knew from town told me he also said he's an ex Major in the Army .

So I got an the chance of an interview but to my surprise there was another 12 lads queuing up I was last .
They were coming out of the interview within 2 mins shrugging their shoulders .

I eventually went in he Ted asked why do you want to be a plumber hearing engineer.

I had to pull it out of the bag .
Told him I'm in the Territorial army and when I finish my time I want to join up and see Germany what a life that would be Ted spoke to me for ages and even shook my hand when he did that I knew the job was mine back in 74 .

In 1977 everything changed with disco the best years of my life for the first time I was good at dancing and the attention it received boosted my ego for the first time .

Back in 85 ish I started my own we plumbing business sold my car and cycled to jobs carrying cuttings of pipe and a we tool kit in all weathers it wasn't easy but I did enjoy being !y own boss and taking a big gamble .

When I met Sue in 1978/79 it took me over a year to meet her parents as I thought her dad teaching engineering at Aberdeen uni at the time I wasn't good enough for her .

Glad I was wrong 40 years later still going strong.

I'm very sorry to hear about how your mum died, Buc.  That must have affected in a big way.

Yeah it was and I did need help I'm not afraid or embarrassed to admit that either.

Do you and your crew not hound the seps out of yer local? I’m sure you said something to that effect.

Double standards again from mummy’s boy.
No we didn't. The one and only sep did it to himself by being a total prick to the owner.
Assuming things again.
Nothing wrong with being a mummy's boy.
