Title: Re: The Vaccine in Scotland
Post by: guest17 on November 20, 2020, 01:25:08 pm
I understand it mate. It’s paid for by British taxpayers . Shared out through the U.K. amongst British Brothers
How’s NHS procurement in England looking?

Secured the vaccine for the Uk.
Will they be able to vaccinate 10m by the end of January?

Not sure that’s in the remit of procurement to be honest.
Didn’t say it was though, did I?

Beep beep beep.

Good to see this vaccine coming out next month .

It will save lives surely that's a good thing .

I for one will be taking it .
Scientist's discovering a vaccine and giving advice to countries around the world to keep people safe they certainly have proved their worth .

One other thing I'm looking forward to is seeing the world getting back to normal and learning from it.

Considering the U.K. Government brought it I’d say ok . We will get our share obviously greater in numbers wise to the rest of our British Brothers but that’s to be expected due to the fact we have greater numbers.
The praise goes to the people who sauced it and payed for it . That’s the U.K. government

The U.K. Government’s money helping everyone in The U.K. I see🇬🇧
Healthcare is devolved in Scotland.

Any word on when England is getting the vaccine? 😀

The broad shoulders and the strength of the Uk helping Scotland again.

“Vaccinating the adult population in Scotland – that’s anyone aged over 18 – is 4.4 million people. We have, rightly, worked across the 4 Nations to secure the vaccines and to secure agreement on the population share of the doses purchased for each of the UK nations.”

Planned rollout announced.

Delivery of vaccine in December.
1m in Scotland vaccinated by end of Jan.
Vaccination available to all over 18s by Spring.

Well done to the NHS Scotland Procurement Team and well done to all involved in the governance of the biggest logistical exercise Scotland will have ever seen.

Where does it say it’s available in December?
