Nippy will make it 2031. Just to be different.

😂 on yersel nippy, life would be boring if we were all the same.

I do prefer a diesel masel like.
Better torque.
Why is it the motorist thst is always hit?

Scottish government mentioned that in 2017.

You better ask the London government why so much taxes are on fuel .

Maybe ask why the road tax is so high as well.
I'm talking about worldwide and that the motorist is getting blamed for climate change.

Do you believe in climate change and if so who or what is responsible?

DaftMo will blame the SNP
?he certainly blames them for just about everything.

But being a good Brit and Torie ignores everything that they have fkt up on.

21 million of tax payers money to a middle Spanish man for sourcing PPE unbelievable.

Why couldn't they have don't that themselves? One of many muck ups .

How much have we paid the SNP Monaco based fan for 2 rusting ferries?
The white elephant that is Prestwick airport?
BiFab?
BiFab was a basket case of a business.
The snp are a basket case of a party.
Coming from a rampant Yoon I'd expect nothing else from you.

But you will take free prescription's and free university places .

But down in England my niece had to work in Asda to pay for her studying Law .
but not in Scotland.
But still people moan .

These things aren't free, but taxpayer funded.

Also, the taxpayer funded Uni fees came at a cost, which was a huge cut to taxpayer funded college places.  Ironically, those college places would have went to offspring of families with less money than that of the Uni students, who tend to be privileged in comparison.

It's a sort of reverse Robin Hood.. taking from the poor and giving to the rich, great vote winner for the SNP though.

I'm not sure how it works in England, but I reckon Uni students should have to pay their fees up over a long period of several years, once they've finished their course and are earning over a certain amount.  That would stop people doing courses just for the sake of it and would mean the working class lassie with 3 kids and works in my local spar isn't paying Uni fees for the children of those who's families can usually afford it anyway.

Agree things aren't free but it's down to what you prioritize.

Down south there are people who qualify but it's down to being over 60 (if I mind right) and also down to illnesses and the like but there's a huge amount who don't qualify for free prescription's. Unlike Scotland everyone is entitled to it .

But my thoughts on this if you can afford to pay for university then you should pay .

I also think if you earn the high tax bracket you should pay for your prescription's.
But that's my thoughts on this . Others may disagree.

90% of prescriptions in England/Wales are free....as was the case in Scotland.

Those who were in need always got free prescriptions.
We now have the scenario where you retired in your 50’s, have a foreign property as well as properties here...and get ‘free’ prescriptions...and fückin brag about it.
If your niece came to university up here from England she would have to pay.

I'm unsure about who or what is responsible for climate change, but if it is indeed caused mainly by pollution, then China are far more responsible than Western countries IMO.

I can't see diesel and petrol cars being banned by 2030.  The amount of upgrading to the electricity network for everyone charging their vehicles would be unreal, with streets being blocked and dug up in towns all over the country over the next 10 years and new power stations having to be built.  These would have to be coal or nuclear.. windfarms and solar wouldn't cut it as we can't store power in quantities vast enough and Hydro only provides tiny amounts for short periods of time.

I just don't see the planning going into this that would be required.  These are political soundbites designed to make people look good IMO.

That's fine too .
But for me it's the London government and will always be because that's where it's based .

You could also call it the English parliament because there's much more of them and what they want they vote for it .
