My nephew is into lego. Might get him that for a laugh just to see my brother's reaction
My wife's aunt bought me it. She pure came up to me at a wedding, holding it gently inside crinkly paper, telling me not to open it at the time and that it's delicate so to be careful. Thought it was expensive jewellery til I got home and I realised it was much better than that!

The RC Church will always have this problem as long as they have a vow of celibacy for priests IMO. Not being able to marry or have a family will attract those with a same sex attraction and a significant amount of these are always going to be paedophiles too.
With regards to cover ups, the problem, IMO, is the focus on the importance on the actual Church itself. I'm not saying these horrendous incidents don't take place in Protestant Churches either - they do, but nowhere near as much. This is, IMO, because the RC Church places such importance on the actual organisation for salvation whereas Protestant Churches don't have this, so they won't have the same urge to cover it up and try to uphold it's image.
It's dreadfully sad, and as an outsider looking in, I think those at the top are a huge part of the problem. I'd be interested to hear the thoughts of any Catholics on what I've said, Peter, Buc, MOA?

Then how are a significant amount of gay men that go into the church always going to be beasts? I’m sure if it was **** they were after there’s ways and means to do that discreetly, a beasts sexual preference is kids, there nae shagging them cos they cannae get a date on grindr that night.

There are a larger proportion of those with a same sex attraction who are attracted to kids than there are those attracted to the opposite sex. It's hard to put your finger on the exact reasons for this, but I have my thoughts.
If you swallow (no pun intended) the Lady Gaga line that they were simply born that way, then the reasons will be harder to find than if you take a more nuanced approach.
I doubt any of it is to do with Grindr, although reframing arguments and rubbishing them with jokes is a common tactic of those who have an entrenched opinion.
