I've always enjoyed Xmas. Got a fair bit off work this year as well. Meant to be starting a new job after the New year so i'll enjoy it

I don't really like Christmas
Socially acceptable to have yer first drink at 8am, stuff yersel with as much food as you want, presents and shakin stevens.

I love Christmas dinner and drinks. I can't really think of any other meals that beat Christmas dinner.
I adore it, my two are 10 and 9 so I’ve nae got long left of it being as special as it is just now. Pretty sure my daughter knows but she’ll never say, my loon on the other hand, I think we’ll have to sit him down at 15 and come clean, bless him.

Having Christmas trees and decorations up this early devalues Christmas IMO. I know of someone who had their tree up in October, I kid you not.
But certain others cannae wait to jump to the disco dancing daft plumbers defence when he’s clearly talking shíte.
Which is 100% of the time when he is on about poltics. 99.99% the rest of the time 😂

Personally I can’t wait for Christmas.

Think people are trying to lift their spirits by getting into Xmas mode earlier. Granted it isn't everyone's way of cheering themselves up. I personally enjoy Xmas and the run up but feeling this year might be a bit of a damp squib which will be disappointing

I have seen 3 houses with them up already 🙈.
It is 45 days to xmas.
When I was younger they were put up around 1-2 weeks before the day.
Fu#k having them up already.
