Huge differences between accents in Ayrshire IMO.
A Cumnock accent is far different from someone from Stewarton for example.
The Easties all sound the same though, and I say that as someone who now resides in the East. I do agree that Fifers, much like Africans, tend to look the same.

Complaint received. Only the second in our history, and the first real one.
It doesn’t seem to fall within the purview of executive action, so it will now be a matter of debate for the board.
I'm looking for a fine to be issued. Something in the region of 2 grand
Personally I'm looking for a knighthood.
I hope for a chance to stand a fair trial before the jury verdict is delivered, in which I'd hope to state my case.
It's certainly exciting. If the complaint is dismissed out of hand I will be very gracious and move on until I find something else to offend me.
There would need to be a motion Erchie for the matter to he thoroughly examined. Due to my presiding officer it’s not appropriate for me to initiate motion threads myself.
I can tell you are very serious about this weighty matter.
Racism in this day and age is indeed unacceptable though it's unsurprising that it has reared it's ugly head here.
Hopefully the perpetrator will find his own way to redemption on this occasion.
As the great Martin Luther King once said, **** the huns
I'd love to be able to respond to this, however my lawyers have advised me to remain tight lipped until the trial, if indeed a motion is initiated.
When this is all over, I'll be writing a book about the ordeal

I'll graciously accept whatever is decided as per point number 3 of The Rules as stated on 21/08.
As I tend to agree with you and you tend to agree with me, no further action required.
That’s how it works on here...right?
Not at all. Hardliner and I are on opposite sides of almost every argument.
The default is that all complaints are a matter for the board. Only in the case of illegality would I ever act unilaterally.

Strong accent in Forfar. Not sure about Montrose?
Does Mo say "innit" or "ken" after his sentences? That is what i'd like to know
I'd imagine Lion talks the Queen's English.
Absolutely. 🇬🇧

No these are not said after a sentence. The accent is not strong at all. Like the town it is by far the best in Angus.

Once you hit Auchinleck and go beyond into Cumnock it’s borderline indecipherable. Whereas just a little north in places like Mauchline they speak like people in Kilmarnock do, with Glasgow accents.
😂

I'd say there is a very big difference between Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen accents but quite similar if you have a neutral east coast accent. I was born in Dundee, grew up and went to school in Fife but have stayed in Dundee overall the most but I would say I have a soft accent, some would say sexy but I don't sound either Dundonian or Fife.
Very true, MOA, and I do notice it now that I live here.
Was just trying to create an opening for my comment about Africans tbh.
During my turbulent 6 months in Dundee, I noticed a huge difference in the accent. You get towns who have their own words too I notice, Blairgowrie say Ged and Perth say Doss but with a different meaning from the one used by Begbie in Trainspotting!
The Dundonian accent sticks out when you hear it on the TV. I mind Kyle from the view had subtitles when he was interviewed on MTV 😀
Have you ever heard 'The View' being interviewed? Lol
Yes. 4000 words per second 🙂

I don't like the Glasgow accent much either.
Good job she's from Irvine then.
Is that different? ;D
Aye, one's Irvine and the other is Glasgow.
Accents from around there all sound the same.
Bet she still gives it bythaway, pure dead brilliant and defin-nettly.
They don't sound the same. I've lived in Glasgow and North Ayrshire (you haven't) and the accents are different.
Only because you’re from there I guess, to someone from up my way it all sounds the same, I could distinguish between a brocher and someone from Peterhead by the language they use and the subtle differences in accent but they’d both sound the same to you.
Shut up.
😂 I’m not disagreeing with you, just pointing out that the subtle differences won’t be heard by someone from the other end of the country.
I was only kidding. I understand what you're saying, kind of.😃
