Title: Re: Broken
Post by: guest19 on October 29, 2020, 07:08:55 pm
Broken wrist when I was young

Knuckle when I stupidly punched a wall years ago

Finger playing football

Not sure if it is classed as a broken nose but the bit inside got smashed when I got a bang in the puss when I used to do the doors years ago

What made you punch the wall?  ;D

I had a few scraps in my younger days but thankfully nothing was ever broken.
Years ago in a shared flat with my mates two of them started scrapping. I tried to split them up but they kept going so in frustration I punched what I though was a hollow wooden bit but in actual fact it was made of brick :)

I'm not a fighter though, i'm a very laid back guy but when I done the doors the guy sucker punched me as I was asking his pal to leave for whatever reason

Yeah I'm not a fighter either and am laid back, same as yourself.

Maybe shouldn't have assumed the wall was hollow wooden  ;)

Bones .

Both elbows and both stewed together my right one about 5 years ago whilst out cycling.
The right one whilst out running in the forest just a few weeks back.
And broke my left pinkie in 3 places

Broke my foot during a forest race which I was trying hard to catch the leader .
Broke my wrist  in the early 80s playing in goals

Broke my thumb playing in goals in the mid 70s
Also broke my big toe .
What about you guys ?
You forgot about your heart that was broken in 2014 😀🇬🇧

Come on Mo we are talking about broken bones .
Have you broke any?

None, I’m still intact, had never been in hospital in my life until June.

Sounds like you've had nearly as many bone breaks as Sturgeon has promise breaks!  :P

I'm happy to say that I've never broken a bone, although I've dislocated my pinkie several times.

How's your recovery coming along?

I'm running slow enough to make sure I can see where I'm putting my feet
I'm getting there mate just take a we bit longer seeing the surgeon on the 5th November..
But will step it up in January. Keeping fit comes with risks .
Thanks for asking

Glad to hear it's going well!  I agree about the risks.  I nearly got soaked on my lunchtime run by a lorry going through a puddle.

What were the three places you broke your pinkie in? Aberdeen and where else?
