At this time of year, yes. But my views on Charity are consistent all year round.

It is a great thing that clubs do bring out poppy kits.

This has always been my view. I have continued to contribute to charities over the years due to the awkwardness involved in not doing so, but I think I am going to stop.

Lots of football teams now creating poppy kits and selling them with the condition that “a percentage of profits will go to charity”.

Charity is now an industry which never does the only valuable thing it can do, which is lobbying governments and calling out failings publicly.

That’s me done.
