Title: Re: Young Scottish striker Fraser Hornby
Post by: Jake Roberts on October 14, 2020, 10:28:24 pm
I've been keeping an eye on Hornby, was never able to get a chance at Everton. Not a shock with the crazy money that goes through the English League.
He's always looked a fine player for the 21's, he's benefitted from a couple of hatricks against poor sides but I won't take the goals away from him.

He currently isn't better than Dykes or even McBurnie. He probably needs another season of getting regular 1st team football in France but he looks a promising young player.

The strongest area of the under 21s is once again the midfield.

Not into computer games not my thing .

Used to love playing space Invaders in the pubs during the late 70s .

It’s pleasing to see that Hornby seems to be on the right track.

Has overtaken Scott Booth and Jordan Rhodes to become the top all time scorer for Scotland Under 21s. He currently plays for Reims in Ligue 1 in having previously appeared once for Everton in the Europa League.

Well done Fraser Hornby I'm sure we will be hearing more about him in the near future.
Scott Booth for me never reached his full potential but he was still a good player .

Booth was very good and could have been top level, but he did achieve a lot. The first Scot to win the then Intercontinental Cup, defeating Cruzeiro with Dortmund. He also scored in the CL for Dortmund

Under 21s are doing very well, in with a chance of qualifying.
