Not sure if this has happened as yet but if I remember correctly the Scottish government were going to reintroduce Wolves and Brown bears back into the Cairngorms they became extinct during the 1700s .
As another booster for the tourism industry.
I cannot see that happening Buc.
Would you visit a zoo ?
Not now as I think they can be cruel .
Maybe a place for injured animals who won't survive in the wild I'm all for that?
They most certainly are cruel Buc. Good for you not supporting them by visiting.
Would go if they were caring for injured animals.
They rely on support.
My daughter has taken on chickens 12 at the last count she's built a big cage for them and looks after them very well she sells their eggs to pay for their get bills.they are well catered for and well loved .
Thats brilliant what she is doing. 👍
Totally different from a zoo though
Aye it is different she rescued them .

Depends on the zoo.
Do you think it is acceptable to have wild animals in cages so we can stare at them ?
It depends.
Go on 🤔
Not all zoos are the same. You understand that concept, don’t you?
Yes they are. They cage up wild animals or put them in enclosures that are no where big enough. You do understand that is wrong

A lot safer for us when they’re in a cage.

I'd love them to reintroduce such animals, Buc.
What's your take on visiting zoos? You seem a principled man when it comes to animal welfare and I'd factor your opinion into my considerations.

Kinda split by this .
Don't agree with keeping animals captive but if they are endangered then maybe we have no choice.
I'd let most of the animals out and back where they belong.

Read this if you can Buc. Heartbreaking. What kind of person would go to a zoo? Disgusting, there is no argument

I don’t mind safari parks if they’ve a bit of room to roam about but I wouldn’t visit a zoo but then I’ve got a pet gecko so am probably a bit of a hypocrite there.
