But I'm going out to the pub early afternoon if all goes well.
No running in the meantime sadly .

Sounds good Pete, what are you intending on buying? Did that guy sort you out with the hole for the trampoline?
He sure did. Gets used every day which is great.
I’m in the market for trees and some laurels to create a windbreaker hedge.
Laurels for a windbreaker hedge is exactly what my father in law did not so long ago. It grew in no time and looks beautiful.

Work has been less stressful this week thankfully, so it's not a major relief for the weekend to arrive.
It's the wife's birthday on Sunday so we are going out for a nice lunch with the wee man followed by a nice drive and walk. We like visiting historical sites, so might head to the site of the Battle of Methven in 1306 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeM_yn7JzJc - I thoroughly recommend the videos of 'Strange Places in Scotland'.
Other than that, catching up with some studies and lodge business. Will squeeze in at least one run and some weights too.
