It is people like you that independence would not affect as you have enough money. It is like these famous rich Scots like Connery, McGregor etc who don't even live here. Totally selfish. It would really affect the working class like myself who would be even worse off than I am now.
You have retired, well done, but now have lots of time to chase a pipedream that would if ever happened leave the country skint and worse than it is now. I personally think that is completely selfish on your part especially when you had your chance and lost.
