Nice one Pete growing trees is something I did in my last house in Woodcroft in the forest out the back gate .
Great to see them take hold and grow .
Was up running past my old house today and saw the tree I planted before I left 2 years ago it was an amazing feeling seeing how much it had grown .
As I'm sure you will mate.
Cheers Buc.
I really do get something out of it. Have planted about 40 around the place and am watching them constantly to see how they are getting on. My wife likes flowers but I have no interest really in that. She does the actual gardening while I do the trees and cut the grass.
So far I’ve planted Sitka Spruce, Ash, Beech, Rowan and Cherry. Have found 4 willow trees growing in the hole in the ground which will one day be my garage so going to transplant them soon as well.
You've got the garden for it so why not .
Not sure I'd like to be cutting your grass ::)

And the sweat is lashing aff me.
Maturish ones, not root stems. 2 green beech and one Rowan. Now I have a Rowan either side of the drive way which is a custom here to prevent evil from crossing one’s threshold.
I don’t believe in that but it looks nice. Symmetrical.
