Sounds like Kia UK are just trying to save money.

Goodwill should only be offered when the car is out of warranty to loyal customers.
They are being tight pricks. If this is not sorted to my satisfaction then both Kia and the dealer will have lost a good customer 🤷‍♂️

I don't understand how they could offer you any goodwill if in their opinion the fault isn't a manufacturing defect.

If the car is still under warranty then they should be paying for all of it or none at all.
They rejected the warranty claim saying it was caused by outside influences. Saying the car had not been washed enough. They are therefore offering this goodwill gesture which is a lot of pish.
The car has been serviced every year at a Kia dealer. I have spent a fortune with them

Their new offer, I pay for 2 wheels at a cost of £450 and the dealer and Kia pay for 1 each.
That's a worse offer 🙈 The guy from Kia UK didn't quite understand that their 1st offer was better. I have rejected that and await their 3rd offer which will probably be I pay for all 4 wheels.

Hopefully you get the deal that yous want but these car companies seem to twist the rules .

If a boiler has a 7 year warranty then Alpha for example will cover it as long as it's been installed correctly and by a gas Safe engineer. They don't back out the car company should be the same .
All I want them to do is change the wheels under warranty. They are being a nightmare though

Is the car itself still under warranty or is this a goodwill claim?
Car is stil under warranty but Kia have rejected the claim. This is a goodwill gesture between Kia UK and the dealer. They are a nightmare getting back to you as well.

They will only cover it if it has been serviced to their specifications each year.

I had a Kia and after 2 days the panoramic sunroof smashed.
I had a battle with them to replace it under warranty.

Get onto Kia UK. The dealer's hands will be tied, they can only go on what Kia UK authorise.
I have mate, that is what they are offering. Absolute pish, I'm not happy 🙁

Anyone got them on their car ?
My better halfs Kia has them and they were replaced under warranty 18 months ago as they were corroding. Now this set are and Kia are refusing to replace them again saying the corrosion has been caused by brake dust not been washed off. Cheeky bastards. We have been offered a 3 way split between us, the dealer and Kia at a cost of £300 each. I've rejected that and am now waiting for them to come back with a better offer, i.e they replace them under warranty again as it is a manufacturing defect.
