Hardliner, do I remember correctly that you are into your Covenanter’s history?
Indeed, I learned this morning that the birthplace of Alexander “Prophet” Peden’s birthplace is to be found on my regular dog walking route! Can just about see it from my window.
I know a wee bit mate, but not as much as I'd like to.
The stories of guys going to open moors or caves to worship, but also being prepared for battle if caught fascinates me.
Plenty Covenanting heritage around you mate.
Excellent stuff mate. The story with him and the mask etc is brilliant. I think you can view it at the National Museum in Edinburgh - something I keep meaning to do.
