That's the thing, I think it's about 6 weeks.
Maybe a house party or 2 although they're nae allowed just now. :D

How much does it work out per pint?
If you have something like a summer house in the garden you could get a full system installed. For example you get Tennents full size barrels for £140 which hold 88 pints.
What’s the shelf life?

The 8litre kegs are between £30-£40 I think, depends what you get obviously

Looks like a cool bit of kit. I don't think I could justify one when I've got a wee pub a 1 min walk from the house though!

I don’t drink enough beer in the house or at all really these days for it to be worthwhile. What I would really love though is some kind of Coke Zero tap built into my kitchen island but I’ve never seen any such system.

Yes, I have one, but not that.
I have the sub machine, fantastic bit of kit.
My only gripe is it only holds four pints, they did do bigger one's but they stopped for some reason.
Tip if you buy one, the sub takes HOURS to cool down beer when you first turn it on.
Put the sub keg in the fridge before hand, the straight into the already running machine.

Cheers Steve, I’m looking at the ones that hold the 8litre kegs, cos I’m a greedy bastard and you get 14pints aff them.

Never had one maybe it's a good idea as I'd muck it all up anyway.
