I really like the borders and Northumberland. Had a few really good family holidays there.

Hope it's been a good trip, Coyne.  Sounds like you're rounding it off nicely!

Yeah it’s been great thanks, daughter has loved it. Will defo come back to the same caravan as it has everything you need and the owners have been brilliant.

It’s hard going at times on yer tod with a 4 year old, ice cold beers at tea time help the situation.

Nice one mate.  My brother in law lives in Alnwick which isn't too far from there I think.

Good morning to you all, how are we all doing today?

My legs are stiff from yesterdays run, but I might just power on and do another at lunchtime anyway.  Would training through sore legs cause me any injury other than more discomfort?

I can feel autumn in the air and I quite like the change.  Does anyone else enjoy a nice autumn walk, especially in a forest or by a river?

When my legs get sore after a run with my very fast mates takes me a few days to feel better .

My rule of thumb is if your legs are a bit sore I just go for a 3 or 4 mile jog.

But I'm obsessed with running it's good for me mentally body and mind stuff.

Last day at Haggerston, been for a walk, to the park, on the wee train and just having lunch in the caravan.

Take her to the complex to play on the machines this afternoon and I need to nip into the shop for a few beers for later.

Tea will be getting delivered to the caravan courtesy of Burger King, XL Bacon Double Cheeseburger Meal with some Chilli Cheese Bites.

I love Autumn and Winter and I spend a lot of time out in nature with my dog, pondering matters.

I am much more of a forest, hills and rivers guy than a beach guy. Fortunate I can go out my door and go for long walks but also lots of good walks withing 5 minutes drive. I will be out today. Fear not though, as I enjoy posting when I’m out.

Aye, beaches don't really float my boat either.

I really enjoy coming across a site of historical significance when I'm on a walk, no matter how small.
