Title: Re: Does anyone here like Panto?
Post by: PeterGrant on December 19, 2020, 12:15:06 pm
It's a load of shite. I hated it as a kid.

The only time I enjoyed it was at Aladdin at Cumbernauld Theatre in primary 5. We pelted Jaffar with with Maltesers and Smarties. How we chuckled.

Teachers went mental when we got back but the laugh was worth it.

Went to see Rolph Harris doing a panto he was hosting and performing in.

He was very good he also sang 2 little boys at the end one of my favourite songs as a kid growing up..

Didn't know what was ahead at the time .
You never know do you.

Not particularly but it was something we did every year in Ellon, I miss taking the kids this year.

Highlight of the year up in chookter land.

I can vaguely remember going as a young lad.  It doesn't seem particularly stimulating, but I'll probably take the wee man in a few years.

I absolutely despise it.

I was thinking I had dodged it this year but now it’s being piped into my home.
