Title: Re: Ave Maria isn't this

I love listening to stuff like that in small doses Buc.

Nice to see the wummin from the Scottish Widows advert make an appearance.

I do like some church songs very heartwarming but there's a fair amount of songs I find boring .

Been a few years now since I've been to church but as a kid I enjoyed being an alter boy up there with my priest Father Stone ..

Not ready to go back one big reason is my wife has no time for religions.
I think she'd let me have it for getting involved as she'd put with that rubbish .

The anti-religion mindset is a common one especially with the rise of the new atheist phenomenon a few years ago.  This has subsided a lot in the past few years IMO.

Just pretend you're off for a run and go to Church instead  ;D

Hopefully father Stone lives up to his name and wears Stone Island when conducting mass.

Bouncing up and down the aisle as he gives his sermons.

I think he did fancy my auntie Betty .
But I think just about everyone did she used to be a stunner and dressed to get attention which she got plenty of back in the 60s .

Think Father Stone would be well gone mate .
He used to do a lot of things for us

We used to go out to Blair's and do stuff with the young Priests who were playing their trade .

We played football with them on their football pitch must say they were dirty players .

Still had fun though thanks to Father Stone .

Song just beautiful moving tune by Franz Schubert it also has a Scottish connection to it Walter Scott epic poem The Lady of The Lake .

Very moving especially when Mario Lanza nails it here .
