That article really warmed my heart. It's exactly the place I'm coming from when I express my love for Britain.
Yes, the economic case is important and the Union wins that hands down, but I feel that Britain is so much more than that.
If I was to cut myself, I've no doubt that my blood would be red, white and blue.. a bit like aquafresh toothpaste.
I like Britain too. It is a cracking lump of land with lots of great places on it.
Why do you need Britain to be governed by Westminster in order to love it, Brother Hardliner? Is your love for Britain conditional upon something so particular?
My love for my country will always exist, Pete. This would be the case whether we were governed by the status quo or in a doomsday scenario with power being transferred to the nodding dog NPCs in Holyrood.
I'm sure my favourite Historian feels the same. Our love for our country isn't conditional.
My affection for Britain is great and it will only grow with independence. 👍
I'm glad you're affection for our great Nation is growing after our exit from the EU. We truly are independent now.
