And if the figures are bad it means they are bad under the status quo. The report itself, which you seem very keen to accept in its entirety, states that it does not represent the financial position of an independent Scotland.

They were the basis of the independence white paper and the SNP growth commission report.

No wonder the MP’s and MSP’s are jumping ship from the SNP.

What would the deficit be in an independent Scotland?

Nobody knows.

Unlikely to be as high as the supposed 8% as per GERS or the current UK deficit of 16%.
